CFD Companies' Support of Adviser Social Media Marketing Highlighted at Industry Conference
July 15, 2025
KOKOMO,
Ind., June 27, 2025 – Willing
to embrace the extra regulatory burdens imposed on firms that allow social
media marketing, CFD Companies is being rewarded for their dedication to
empower affiliated financial professionals. The efforts and commitment of CFD
were validated recently when a financial adviser affiliated with CFD Companies,
Rachael Camp, was a featured panelist at the 2025 Jolt! Conference.
Social media marketing remains a taboo practice at many financial services firms. CFD Companies has calculated that the extra regulatory burdens are a part of providing exceptional service to the CFD affiliated financial professionals. Whether it’s social posts, video content, podcasts or basic digital advertising, CFD is committed to empowering their affiliated professionals to maintain a voice of relevance in modern culture.
“There is significant effort by the home office to maintain an environment where our financial professionals can leverage modern marketing without stepping out of line. It takes commitment from our affiliated advisers and professionals as well. There is nothing simple about it, but we never want to be a reason why our advisers and professionals struggle to grow their business,” said Brent Owens, President of CFD Companies.
The Jolt! Conference is a three-day event hosted by financial industry marketing firm Snappy Kraken that focuses on the importance of using digital marketing as a financial adviser. As a featured panelist, Camp shared her personal experiences using digital tools to foster genuine connections and grow her business. In marketing parlance, she would be considered somewhere between a nano and micro influencer on the platform X (formerly Twitter). That’s no easy accomplishment in just three or four years.
When asked about her relationship with CFD recently, Ms. Camp said, “The most encouraging thing to me is that it is always clear that CFD wants to be a partner in my growth, both professionally and personally. I’m sure there are things I could ask for where the answer might be ‘no,’ but my experience has generally been, ‘Well that’s very interesting, let’s look at the regulation and figure this out.’”
Camp will continue to inspire and lead by example as she takes the main stage at CFD Companies’ 2025 Fall Conference, entitled Blueprint. The conference is expected to draw over 250 financial advisers for a dynamic time of learning, networking and fellowship, underscoring CFD’s ongoing commitment to adviser growth and innovation. This year, the conference is also open to non-CFD affiliated advisers who are seeking ideas, training and motivation to grow their practices. The conference takes place in CFD’s home office auditorium. While there is no charge for financial advisers to attend, it is first come, first served, and space is limited.
