A Powerful Return to Community Insight and Inspiration

Recently, CFD Companies hosted their annual Spring Financial Adviser Conference, marking its return as an in-person event for the first time in two years. Traditionally, the spring conference provides another opportunity for the CFD financial professionals, home office staff, and industry professionals to connect with one another for a time of collaboration and motivation, and learning from industry experts, and sharing tips and strategies to help elevate their practices. This conference gave attendees the opportunity to listen to keynote speakers, gain insights from top-performing financial advisers, and explore new approaches for their practices from our home office team.
In addition to fellowship and the aforementioned speakers, actor and writer Kevin Sorbo served as the conference's keynote speaker. Kevin's talk, entitled, Be a Hero in the Workplace, touched on challenges that nearly took his life and altered his trajectory of his acting career. With perspective, he identified those challenges as preparation for the current landscape, where he finds himself - being blackballed by Hollywood for his Christian beliefs.
As is usually the case, the conference also included updates from some of our home office staff on issues for relevance within the industry. The future of A.I. and how it can help our advisers' practices, processing updates and an overview of the CFD knowledge base were a few of the topics covered.
CFD hosts just two conferences a year, but both adviser leadership and home office leadership identify these events as critical beyond the recent growth and success of the CFD Family. They serve as more than just events, they reflect the strong, supportive community that sets CFD Companies apart from other Broker/Dealer and RIA firms.
